Mt SAC Concert Choir, 2012-2013

UPDATE:  Ok soooo....I haven't used google docs before, and apparently you have to make sure the stupid SHARE option isn't set to LOCKED before you send the link out.  It is now UNLOCKED and hopefully you can view the file without a problem.  I also sent an email out to all who have already enrolled in Concert Choir.  Please let me know if you have any further problems viewing the list at the links below. 

First of all, thank you to EVERYONE who auditioned for the Concert Choir this year.  Between people who registered in advance and those who walked in last week, we had anywhere between 150-170 trying to get into the class.  As I mentioned in our opening meeting last Monday, I can only take 84.  This means that I had to turn away a huge number of well qualified students this year as there simply wasn't room for everyone.  If your name is not found below, I hope you will consider auditioning again in the Spring.  (Please note: Kevin Sun, Jason Tang, Matthew Zabala...your names were cut off and you need to scroll down to see them. You are ON the list!)

AUDITIONS THIS WEEK!

Hi everyone!  The Fall semester begins this Monday, August 27 when our campus will once again be filled with over 50,000 students from all over Southern California and beyond.  I want to welcome all of our new students this year (I counted over 100 NEW students who have already registered for Concert Choir) as well as our returning students from last year.  So far, it looks like we will have well over 200 students auditioning for our ensembles this Fall. The only ensemble that we are NOT auditioning for is the Chamber Singers who auditioned back in May of this year.  This will be an exciting year for them as they will be off to China to compete in the Choir Olympics this November.

Auditions for the Concert Choir, Fermata Nowhere and our Vocal Jazz Ensembles will be taking place starting on Monday and will continue through Thursday Evening.  All of the audition information can be found below.

PLEASE CHECK BACK on Saturday by 5 PM as I will be posting all of the audition results here.
