Thank you to EVERYONE who auditioned for Spring Thing 2013!  We had a TON of acts audition this year, and we were very limited in terms of how many we could use.  If your name is not below, I hope you will audition again next year.

YOU ARE ALL ALSO PART OF THE CURTAIN CALL AT THE END OF THE SHOW THIS YEAR, SO PLEASE PLAN ON STAYING THE ENTIRE TIME ON THURSDAY NIGHT TO FIND OUT WHERE YOUR SPOT IS ON STAGE AT THE END FOR THE FINAL BOW.

CURTAIN CALL (Everyone comes back to the stage for one more bow!) 

           

PRODUCTION NOTES:

1) EVERYONE STAYS FOR THE CURTAIN CALL AT THE END OF THE CONCERT!  At the end of the concert, you will all take the stage one more time as a group and take one more bow before the MC's tell everyone goodnight.  We will rehearse this at the end of the Dress Rehearsal on Thursday.

2)Jessica Parra - Find some background singers - Maybe 1 or 2 for some harmony on the chorus.  Can we keep the same guitar player and add the band.  I'll also ask Kevin Shannon if he can play on this and take a short solo.

3) Kevin Shannon - Can you play on "Better Dig Two?"  Notes are pretty easy and there is a short solo.  We'll try to get you the music on Monday, if not before.

3) Regina - Let's look for back up singers on the chorus, even if it's in octaves. 

4) Luke - It's OK to pick up the tempo on the bridge, but you can't go directly back to rubato as you finish.  Keep tempo moving until "It's me that you adore. "  Also - watch timing and let's keep the scatting down in your lower range on this one.

5) Lauren Han - We need to add the band on this during the second verse.  Can you find some music by Monday?  Let's set this up more like the recording.

6)  Taylor - On Fly, let's cut a couple of the repeats and think about adding bass during the chorus and the second verse.  Can you find some music?  It's a little too much of the same thing if we can't change the texture up a bit. 

7) Sharzae - Let's change up the end of "I'm Telling You" a bit ...ask me about this on Monday.

8)  I'll be seeing you  - MORE JESSICA!

9) Leah and Tama - Let's add Ron on bass and Dave on brushes starting at the bridge.  It just needs something there.

10)  Lisa and Danielle - Super Bass needs percussion and maybe some bass.  Can you bring in the music on Monday?  Bass and drums would REALLY add a LOT here.
